Haunted house. Also less scary “Family Days”. Inexpensive and convenient, great location, but the actors aren’t trying that hard, and the décor is only OK.

Castle of the Damned at Hammond Castle Gloucester, MA                    
7-11pm. Huge lines, arrive early! Drive to offsite parking lot, not the castle. Haunted House. Amazing acting and venue, but long lines and distance of actors from visitors make it hard to be startled/scared. A good not-so-scary venue but for adults, not children.
