Apr 26 – May 3, 2011: Cambridge Science Festival, Build a Catapult, Pow Wow, Meteors, Open Studios, & Comic Con

This week, gear up for the Cambridge Science Festival. I went last year and it was packed with genuinely interesting festival atmosphere stuff that’s great for kids but not just for kids.

I hope you are having an awesome week. Now get out there and do something fun!

I really want to see this! Someone with a car please write me. A trebuchet is a kind of efficient catapult. And they’re going to build one at the Higgins Armory, which is worth the trip to Worcester even when they aren’t doing something AWESOME.

In addition to the Science Festival, Cambridge is also hosting an arts festival this week, all across the Harvard campus. I went once and it was great. This is not to be confused with the commercial event run by the Harvard Square Business Association…
