I love re-enactments! Instead of watching the marathon, how about taking part in the history that made Patriot's Day a holiday? I list a ton of them below and this one's my favorite, the battle that began the American Revolutionary War. Crazy people march from 4am-5:45am. Then 2,000 show for the re-enactment in Lexington at 5:30am. Arrive an hour early or bring a stepladder for a good view. This Week in Review

This weekend, being dominated by Easter, features few truly amazing events -- unless you have kids and spend 10 minutes Easter egg hunting. However, it would be a great time for a hike at Wachusett Mountain or the Middlesex Fells. Hiking when it's a little chilly is just like having your own air conditioner! You can walk as much as you like without sweating.

Hang in there! Spring is coming but meanwhile weird, outdoorsy events are few this week. It's a great time to visit some museums. My favorites? The DeCordova Sculpture Museum, the Museum of Science, Boston, the Fuller Museum, and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.
