The following streets will be closed from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for the parade:
Main Street
West Elm Street
McCartney Street
Portland Street
School Street (remains closed until 10:00 pm)

Clam Festival Canoe and Kayak Race
Saturday, July 21

Yarmouth Town Landing
The race starts at Yarmouth Town Landing and goes down river, around Lanes Island, and back down the Royal River to finish. (approx. 6 miles).

REGISTRATION:
EARLY: $20 per person if registration is submitted by Thursday, July 12th. Please submit your completed registration to: Emma Pope-Welch, Maine Island Trail Association (MITA), 58 Fore St. @ Suite 30-3, Portland, ME 04101.
Racers who are already registered should arrive at least one-half an hour prior to race time to have your boat in the water 15 minutes prior to race start.
ON RACE DAY: $30 per person if registration is submitted on race day.
Race-day registration begins one and a half hours prior to race start time at Yarmouth Town Landing.

Automobile traffic on the rest of the race course will be restricted to moving in the direction of bicycle traffic, and long delays should be expected.

Starts and finishes on Main Street in front of Memorial Green. This is a 3.6-mile loop with one short climb 10 laps for men (36 miles) and 6 laps for women (21.6 miles).
$1,500 in prizes and primes. Field limited to 100 per race.
Sanctioned by the United States Cycling Federation; all USCF road racing rules apply.
