A Centennial Celebration of
Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House!
Orchard House formally opened to the public on May 27, 1912.
This year, on the Memorial Day holiday weekend, plan to spend time with us as we
celebrate this incredible milestone with thematic guided tours, Living History portrayers,
vintage music and dance, a silhouette artist, working cider press,
postal stamp cancellations, and refreshments.
All outdoor events are free of charge; admission costs apply for tours.

Centennial Benefit Concert
at Symphony Hall, Boston

The evening of May 26th will feature The Boston Pops led by famed conductor
Keith Lockhart with beloved guest vocalist Maureen McGovern
(Oscar/Grammy winner and Broadway star) and special appearances by Mary Richardson (former host of WCVB-TV's ""Chronicle"" and Steward Health Care liaison)
and Prof. John Matteson (Pulitzer Prize winning Alcott biographer)
Benefactors, Patrons, and Supporters have the opportunity to offer substantial support to Orchard House through their ticket purchases, and in return receive table seating as well as options for admission to pre- and post-concert receptions, listing in a commemorative program, and a one-year Family membership to Orchard House.
Even if you are unable to attend, donations in support of the Centennial help to make a difference for educational programming and historic preservation efforts in our next century!
