Come and enjoy a beautiful hay wagon ride around our scenic farm. Smolak Farms offers several types of hayrides to meet your group or individual needs.
Available: May through November, Monday – Friday at 4:00, 6:00 or 8:00, Saturday and Sunday at 6:00 or 8:00.
Smolak Farms offers a unique opportunity for groups, both business and pleasure, to enjoy the scenic landscape here at the farm. Take a tractor-drawn hay ride through our fields, orchards and around our pond into a wooded area to a bonfire site. Your group can sing songs, play games, tell stories or just socialize and enjoy the stars and the open night air. We provide our famous cider donuts and apple cider for the group and you may bring the ingredients to roast marshmallows or hot dogs. Alcohol is prohibited. The entire experience lasts 1.5 hours.
These group rides are perfect for family gatherings, church groups, boy/girl scout outings, birthday parties, corporate team building, school groups and clubs or neighborhood gatherings.
Cost: Reservations are required. The cost of the Night Hayride event is $12.00 per person with a minimum of 20 people. A $200 deposit is required to reserve a small wagon (up to 25 people) or a $300 deposit is required to reserve a large wagon (up to 35 people). We can accommodate groups as large as 100 people. All deposits are due at the time of booking the event. Deposits are non-refundable except in the case of rain. The remaining balance must be paid prior to departure.
Available: On Festival Weekends from May through November. Festivals are held occasionally during the spring and summer months and are held every weekend in the fall in September and October. Hop-on Hayrides are available from 10:00 until 4:00.
While you are enjoying one of our festivals, ""hop-on"" the Smolak hay wagon for a ride around our scenic farm. You will see our fir trees, bee hives, fields and beautiful fruit orchards. The incredible views of the farm from the hayride will help you relax and enjoy the day. Look closely for farm fowl or natural wildlife roaming the grounds.
Cost: Reservations are not required. Cost is $4.00 per person.
