An Intimate Evening with AIC's Egypt Director Dalia Ziada

Dalia Ziada, AIC’s Egypt Director, was in the middle of running AIC’s fourth-annual Cairo Human Rights Film Festival in December when authorities raided seventeen international non-profit organizations. Dalia and the festival courageously proceeded without interruption. An eyewitness to the forces pulling at an Egyptian society in flux, Dalia recently ran an unsuccessful campaign for a seat in Egyptian parliament. Recently named by Newsweek as one of the outstanding “Women of the World,” Dalia, who only just turned 30, will share insights on how events in the streets of Cairo will impact Egypt’s future.
