Sun, Feb 05, 2012 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Location: Crocker Conservation Area, Fitchburg, MA

Instructor: Laurie Nehring - Natural History Guide

Audience: Family (suitable for children ages 10 & up)

Fee: Adults $4.00m / $8.00nm, Children $2.00m / $5.00nm

There is nothing quite like the forest on a winter evening with the full moon reflecting off the snow. If it's a cloudless night, this will be a most memorable evening. Showshoe experience not required. A limited number of snowshoes available for rent; please reserve 3 days in advance. Rental: $2 per hour members; $4 per hour nonmembers.

Instructions and Directions: Fees for Fitchburg residents are $4 adults; $2 children.

This will be a winter hike if snow is not adequate. Meet at the Crocker Conservation Area kiosk at the top of Flat Rock Road (past Applewild School on Prospect Street).

Registration is required.

Register by mail: program registration form. (PDF 66K)

Register by phone: with a credit card by calling (978) 464-2712.
