Take the Plunge in Beverly & Salem!
Every Super Bowl Sunday, our plungers gather with friends & families to raise funds to build affordable housing and end homelessness with the North Shore CDC and River House.
Sunday, February 5th take the plunge into the Atlantic Ocean at Beverly’s Woodbury Beach at Lynch Park and Salem's Dead Horse Beach at the Willows. Check in at 11:00 am, Plunge at 12:30 pm, and Celebrate with us afterwards at the Vittori Rocci Post in Beverly for awards, t-shirts, and refreshments.
Everyone can show support: Sponsor, Cheer, Jump!
Getting Started is Easy
1. Register online as an individual by clicking ""Register""
2. Select the walk that you want to participate in & create a team or join one!
3. Create your own personal fundraising page!
2. Ask family & friends to sponsor your icy jump into the ocean.
Supporters can securely pay online by credit card. They can also mail cash or checks (payable to North Shore CDC) to our offices. Please ask them to write the name of the plunger they are supporting on the check.
“The 2012 Double Dip Challenge”
If Plungers accept the challenge, they “dip” twice into the Atlantic! For their swimming bravery, all “Double Dip Plungers” will be rewarded with a $1 coupon toward a “double dip ice cream (or any size) to be redeemed at Captain Dusty’s Ice Cream later this spring or summer.
