The New England Sled Dog Races at Appleton Farm

Boston’s North Shore is blessed with many acres of beautiful open space containing trails for public recreation. Appleton Farm (and its surrounding public/private land areas) is the ideal venue for the Races. Planning and executing the Races involves the joint efforts of landowners, community leaders, the Trustees of Reservations, the Essex County Greenbelt and the Essex County Trail Association. Proceeds from this event go to these latter organizations so they can continue their work maintaining trails and their missions to preserve open space for public use and enjoyment.
