The 20 year tradition of Winter Festival continues with these partners: The Church Street Marketplace, Vermont Special Olympics, Kids Vermont Camp and School Fair and Burlington Parks and Recreation with ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center Leahy Center for Lake Champlain to bring a day of winter fun and activities to the Burlington community. Additional Activities include a Young Tradition Concert at Contois Auditorium in City Hall; The Board of Health Healthy Lawns, Healthy Gardens, Healthy Lives Exhibits at Memorial Auditorium and the Hotel Vermont Ice Bar.
Join a celebration of winter fun at the Burlington Winter Festival! Vermonts own sanctioned Snow Carving Competition at Waterfront Park. Teams compete to represent Vermont in the National Snow Sculpting Competition in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. See more information here:
Join us for another fabulous year at ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center Leahy Center for Lake Champlain for the Family Expo sponsored by Price Chopper and STAR 92.9 radio. All exhibitors will be hosted in the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center Leahy Center for Lake Champlain facility on the Waterfront. Admission for this special day will be only $4 per person. Come and find all of the great activity partners such as frosting Snowman cookies courtesy of Price Chopper PLUS the great experience of being in the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center Leahy Center for Lake Champlain facility too!!
The Penguin Plunge sponsored by Special Olympics Vermont takes place at 11am on the Waterfront on this same day. The Kids Vermont Camp and School Fair at the Hilton Hotel is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. where you can pick a camp or school option for your children for the summer.
