Is spring on the way, or are we faced with another six weeks of winter? According to legend, Punxsutawney Phil foretells the impending weather each year. If he sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter. If not, spring is near. Ongoing activities throughout the afternoon include nature hikes, snow sculptures, a groundhog obstacle course, crafts, refreshments, and more. The groundhog celebration takes place at 2:00 pm in our warm and spacious barn, with a very special guest - a live groundhog from Drumlin Farm! She will be joined by a few of her animal friends (a broad-winged hawk and an opossum), which we will also learn about. Families with children of all ages are invited to join us for this fun seasonal event.
Instructions and Directions: Meets in the Barn. Please dress for the weather since many of the activities will be outdoors.
