Johnny's SummaryWHAT:
Sky Zone Everett welcomes families of all ages to attend the 1st annual Healthy Family Expo.
Joined by GoKids Boston, an initiative of the UMass Boston College of Nursing and Health
Sciences, the event will offer families the opportunity to learn fun and easy techniques for
leading healthier and more active lives. From nutrition Q&As with health experts and snacking
demos, to fitness mini-sessions on Sky Zone’s 14,000 square feet of walled trampoline courts,
the Expo will tackle family wellbeing head on.
Expo highlights include:
Open Jump: Open to all, Sky Zone welcomes individuals or groups for fun jump time on the facility’s main trampoline courts.
SkyRobics: Instructors will lead trampoline mini-sessions to kids and adults, combining calisthenics, core exercises, and strength building aerobics to show how trampolines can be used for a fun, dynamic and effective workout.
3D Dodgeball: Dip, dodge, duck, dive and literally bounce-off-the-walls during rounds of 3-D Dodgeball.
Calorie Counters: Exclusive to the Expo, Sky Zone will offer guests an interactive way to monitor how their favorite – but maybe not so healthy – snacks and beverages measure up to 5, 10, even 30 minutes of jumping.
Nutrition Demos: Experts from GoKids Boston and local mommy/health blogger Adrienne Martin will host mini-seminars offering guidance and demonstrations of healthy eating, exercise and general wellness for families.
Healthy Food & Drink: Sample popular healthy snacks that are both parent- and kid-approved, including those made by Vitamin Water, Late July, Odwalla, and PopChips.
