About Boston Events Insider

When you bring a friend or a date to the movies, you might as well be alone. You're sitting right next to each other, but not interacting. Same thing with theatre, live music, and the normal stuff you find in newspapers. I love that sometimes, but what about something more quirky? Interactive? More creative than just hitting a bar, like festivals? That's Boston Events Insider. Many organizers of creative, interactive events don't have the money or time to promote themselves, so you won't find them in mainstream newspapers. It takes a nut like me to compile it all. You can't find this stuff anywhere else!

It's all the fireworks, street performers, Ren faires, corn mazes, haunted houses, re-enactments, petting zoos, county fairs, hay rides, museum talks, ethnic festivals, outdoor summer concerts, geek conventions, night hikes, moose tours, street parades, sand sculpture contests, outdoor art shows, dinner theatre, sing-alongs, meteor showers, & Boston fun you can eat!

What, is that it?

No, it's also all the adult spelling bees, easter egg hunts, kite festivals, outdoor summer movies, car shows, food festivals, dragon boats, indian pow-wows, zombie marches, pirate faires, Revolutionary War battles, participatory folk dancing, participatory Xmas caroling, mini-golf, paintball fields, hot tub spas, railroad tours, murder mystery dinner theatres, rollerskating, and gallery nights you can eat!

What, is that it?

Heck, no! It's all the real dinosaur footprints, dog sledding, horse-drawn sleigh rides, wintertime charity swims, magic shows, architectural walking tours, juggling clubs, mechanical bulls, glow-in-the-dark bowling, wildlife sanctuaries, amusement parks, canoe tours, Elvis impersonators, sci-fi conventions, apple picking, poetry slams, and carousels you can eat!

Everything is hand-picked. I take no advertisers, and I research everything personally. I track over 2,500 annual events, and have been at it since 2005.
