Boston Events INSIDER, by Johnny Monsarrat
And here's one on the North Shore that I've been to three times... the first two were great but the third sort of a non-event. But Ipswich is so lovely to visit. 7am-3pm. Crane Beach, Ipswich, MA. see details on the complete Events Insider
Thu 8/4WorcesterDavis Farmland's Megamaze
Boston Events INSIDER, by Johnny Monsarrat
You really need to visit Davis Megamaze, even though you can't go into the petting zoo and spray park unless you have kids in tow. This is opening weekend to walk through the 3 miles of pathways in a corn field shaped like a maze! They add bridges to give the maze a more complicated, 3D shape, and it's a lot of fun to get lost and wander around. 145 Redstone Hill, Sterling, MA.978-422-8888. see details on the complete Events Insider
Sat 8/6 - Sun 8/7WorcesterFrom Redcoats to Rebels: Military re-enactment at Sturbridge
Boston Events INSIDER, by Johnny Monsarrat
Also a must-see is this huge re-enactment of 300 years of military history at my favorite re-enactment museum. I've seen it and it's HIGHLY recommended! They'll have a parade, fife & drum, camp cooking, cannon demo, and kids activities. Old Sturbridge Village, Sturbridge, MA.508-347-3362. see details on the complete Events Insider
Tue 8/2 - Wed 8/10Boston MetroI need a few friends to test my Android mobile app
Boston Events INSIDER, by Johnny Monsarrat
As well as writing this blog, I am putting together a mobile application to show events! It's already working on the iPhone and BlackBerry, but I need a bunch of volunteers with Android platforms to test it, especially one with an HTC Evo. Please email johnny@eventsINSIDER.com and volunteer! It will take just a couple of minutes to play around with it and tell me whether it's working. There are a ton of different Android platforms so I really need your help for testing. Thanks! Cambridge, MA.
