The event of this week is an outdoor brass band festival called HONK. There's a concert Saturday, and a parade Sunday at 12pm from Davis Square to Harvard Square, which is having an Octoberfest, with 6 live music stages, tons of street vendors, and a tethered hot air balloon ride. It's free of course, but the event ends with a brass concert Sunday 10/10 at the Somerville Theatre, and I have 4 tickets to give away.
